Townhome and condo community

Built by someone who
saw the problem firsthand.

SaveHOA was founded by a Chicago-area property owner who experienced firsthand how much money HOAs leave on the table every year.

Founder, SaveHOA

I started SaveHOA after serving on my own HOA board and realizing that we were paying the same vendors the same rates we had agreed to years ago — with almost no scrutiny. Nobody had ever asked: is this what the market charges?

When I finally started asking those questions — pulling invoices, calling competing vendors, reading the fine print on auto-renewal clauses — the answer was usually the same: we were overpaying. Significantly. And we had been for years.

The frustrating part was that it wasn't complicated. It just required time and a willingness to push back. Board members are volunteers. They have jobs, families, and limited time. They shouldn't have to become procurement experts on top of everything else they do for their community.

That's what SaveHOA does. We bring professional procurement discipline to communities that don't have it in-house — and we do it on a pure contingency basis, so there's no risk and no reason not to start.

The problem is structural — not personal.

HOA vendors are very good at one thing: locking in customers and letting contracts auto-renew. Auto-renewal clauses, fuel surcharges, rate escalators, and bundled fee structures are all designed to make it easy for a vendor to get more money without anyone noticing.

Board members aren't procurement professionals. They're volunteers who manage their community's budget in addition to their full-time lives. The vendor knows this — and counts on it. SaveHOA levels the playing field.

How we operate

Transparency

We document every dollar saved and show our work. You know exactly what we found, how we found it, and what it costs.

Board Autonomy

Every recommendation requires board approval. We never make changes or commit your HOA to anything without a vote.

No Conflicts of Interest

We have zero financial relationships with any vendor. No referral fees, kickbacks, or preferred-vendor commissions — ever.

Results Over Activity

We're paid from savings we create. If we don't save you money, we don't get paid. Our incentives are perfectly aligned with yours.
